Starlink now available in Uganda

Starlink posted that "Starlink's high-speed, low-latency internet is now available in Uganda!" Orders go to starlink.com/uganda, linked from Starlink's Tuesday post.

The Uganda order page listed live residential tiers at publish time: Residential 100 Mbps starting at UGX 203,704 per month and Residential up to 400+ Mbps starting at UGX 285,185 per month. Hardware kits are sold separately on the same country path.

Uganda was not a clean first-try market. In January 2026 Starlink suspended service after a UCC directive on unapproved equipment. On May 15, 2026 the Uganda Communications Commission and Starlink signed an operational licence agreement, as reported by Reuters. Local enterprise resellers such as Paratus Uganda began offering Starlink to business customers in late August. Tuesday's company post is the residential order-path open, not the earlier enterprise-only window.
