SpaceX: Flight 14 Starship finished a full-duration 60s static fire with all six Raptors, past the Aug 20 single-engine deorbit demo.
SpaceX posted that the Starship preparing for the fourteenth flight test completed a full-duration, 60-second static fire with all six Raptor engines (SpaceX on X).
That is a different pad test from the Aug 20 single-engine static fire the company framed as a deorbit burn demo. This one is six engines, held for a full minute, on the ship lined up for Flight 14.
Full-duration multi-engine fires are the usual gate before a stacked flight attempt. The post does not lock a countdown clock, a booster pairing, or a catch commitment. It does put hardware progress on the Flight 14 ship after the Christmas Island recovery work and the earlier deorbit-profile burn.
Flight 14 is still described as an orbital attempt with ship-catch goals if the stack is cleared. Soft late-August language on the desk watchlist stays soft until SpaceX posts a firm NET.
Desk already carries the Aug 20 single-engine deorbit-burn static fire as a separate wire. Keep both: one is a profile demo on a single Raptor, the other is a six-engine full-duration run on the Flight 14 ship.
